It’s an old article from GQ about a man trying to find a kindred spirit in someone he knew would hate life. Bob Schoff, a 77 year old male from Iowa, spent hours upside down in a septic tank on Christmas Eve.

I sat next to a dude from Myrtle beach on my plane ride back home. I chatted with him for a bit and said that I hadn’t been to Myrtle Beach since ‘95. He had a little bit of a shock on his face for a second but ignored it and simply replied with “oh?”.

Has been a best friend of mine for a while. Guaranteed to not lose your luggage, not worry about carry ons, and no charge for checking.
With such a great idea; wouldn’t you know they canceled it. You can still check your bag at the gate but you don’t get it back at your next stop and you have to pay. WTF.
