Finished
15 hours later, I’m finished with my last day of work in the USA. They got their last bit out of me here in California.
Tomorrow, I’ll head back to Utah. Carissa and I will drive to Louisiana after purchasing a new vehicle. Bear will sit in the back and probably whine for attention.
For the first time, I’m going to miss California.
True Story
Once, I was hiking and swam across a large lake. I ran out of energy. I inflated a Camelback hydration system and used it as a float. I put my thumb in the air to hitch-hike. Magically, a boat appeared.
I rode in that boat.
Excuses.
Busy. I’ve been spotty about posting lately.
Got married. Got honeymooned. Got travelled and got worked.
I’m heading out for an overseas “business trip” this coming month. Things here might be sketchy for bit.

Falling
I entered a hopeless argument with a person I should have never uttered a word towards. I managed to avoid him until he asserted his bafoonery upon my person. For three hours, this man played with logic like a blender does to a stalk of celery or maybe a human hand.

Valentine's Day
Carissa packed a lunch for me and put a little note in it. I sent her flowers; a dozen roses.
I came home and the two of us made pizzas while we watched Midnight in Paris.

Realization
I have to finish my BS & MBA to do the things I want.
I’ve made it pretty damn far on a GED. Obscenely far in fact but I think it’s time to be a grown up. The only other option seems to be starting a business but that doesn’t seem like a viable option, just yet at least.
What A Day
To finish it off, I blared death/speed metal as I drove home.
I am now cooking with my wife and roommates at the house I am staying listening to The National.
Today was not good. Today has gotten better.
